The Joint Commission Proposed Environmental Sustainment Requirements

Late last month, The Joint Commission published their initial Environmental Sustainment standard. This standard resides within the Leadership Chapter and contains obligations related to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and waste.  The standard is currently open for public comment.  Follow the below link to submit comments by May 3, 2023:
