Overview
As organizations prepare to transition out of the public health emergency, it is imperative that organizations plan for the resumption of their normal day-to-day operations. Contained in the C-APP bundle, this month, is
- a post-COVID-19 pandemic checklist for use both prior to and when you receive notification that the public health emergency is ending.
- The Master Life Safety Waiver list published by CMS. This is a comprehensive list of the waivers that were available during the pandemic. As the pandemic ends, your organization should use this list to double-check the organizations list of waivers implemented to ensure all waivers are revoked and proper documentation exists to bring the organization back into compliance with the regulatory requirement addressed by the waiver.
- The American College of Surgeons checklist that is designed to support organizations as they bring their surgery services back to full operations.
