Overview
This month we are focusing our offering on the Imaging Service or Department. Included in the package is a comprehensive sample tracer checklist that focuses not only on patient care, but some operational/procedural areas that we often find as problematic during our mock surveys. Also included is a sample policy template for communication of actional findings for Radiology Imaging Studies. This sample policy provides further guidance for results that may not meet your critical test results definition but warrant a secondary level of response. Last, is a Medical Imaging Safety card, an easy resource that you can make available to patients who may be concerned about their exposure levels when undergoing various imaging modalities and tests.
