The team at Courtemanche & Associates and SAYAS Alliance, its parent company, are pleased to announce a role change in our organization. As of November 2024, Denise Smith, Senior Consultant will be serving as our new Head of Consulting and will take on all the responsibilities associated with the role. This exciting development coincides with the well-deserved retirement of Patricia Cook, who has been a valued member of our team for the past 8 years.

Denise has been part of the C&A team for almost 5 years, partnering with clients to support their accreditation and regulatory compliance needs. She is a registered nurse as well as a legal nurse and possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in many facets of the healthcare industry. She has an intimate understanding of the hospital and healthcare continuum, the operations and clinical processes, enriched with current knowledge of health care trends with specific expertise regarding accreditation and regulatory compliance requirements for TJC, CIHQ, DNV, AAAHC, other accrediting organizations and CMS.

In her new role she will continue to serve as a knowledgeable resource to new and existing clients, helping to guide them through their accreditation and regulatory needs. She will oversee the contracting, scheduling and agenda planning for client consulting services, supporting the company mission and vision by assuring the delivery of our core business as well as support the C&A business development initiatives.
