Meeting the Needs of the Community through Proactive Assessment & Evaluation

Courtemanche & Associates, in partnership with healthcare organizations, has developed an innovative approach to initiate cultural change at the operational level, driven by leadership, to improve organizational processes and delivery systems through an overall evaluation of the culture of the organization and the development of internal experts and care coaches.  This exciting approach challenges senior leadership to create an expectation and atmosphere of change.  It includes an organizational assessment of current culture; compliance and readiness for change; development of organization-specific tracer tools; education for leadership, medical staff and employees; comprehensive education and mentorship for transformation coaches at the leadership level and care enhancement coaches at the point of care level; identification and monitoring of goals and objectives; and provision of follow-up support. 

Intensive education is provided to staff that become transformation and care enhancement coaches.  Transformation coaches are leaders who will drive the strategy through the organization while care enhancement coaches work with colleagues to enhance and design processes that improve work flow, eliminate barriers, and direct activities to the patient.  Synergy enhancement engagements are structured based on the size, complexity and specific needs of the organization, thus agreements for these initiatives vary in duration.
